Solo Talk below the stars.....

In the shade of the stars and the lantern of the moon, I was taking my regular post-dinner walk on the terrace of my house. As I looked down on the road, I saw a few labourers walking and chatting with each other, with spades on their shoulder, and turban on their head. I think they must have had a hectic day with a day full of sweat and physical labour. As I moved my eyes, just accross the road I saw the beautiful Mall "SPICE WORLD" beautifully lighted and decorated for the Diwali, that's just round the corner. Along with this, my thoughts were continously being disturbed by the LIVE show of Delar Mahendi in NOIDA stadium where the anchor was screaming at the top of his voice, having no realization that someone somewhere around him is may be trying to catch up with his sleep after a very hectic day.

But, the thoughts that were crossing my mind at that moment were not the beautiful lighting and the spectacular show but those poor workers who might have somehow managed their 2 square meals and must be going back to their sheds. Don't those people ever desire to go and see these expensive malls? Don't they ever think if they too could have a house like many other privileged people have?

I don't know if they ever feel sorry for them selves but, I thought to myself,"is it right for me to feel sorry for them?". And the answer that came to me was 'No'. Money doesn't make one happy in life. I know many of those in those big shows are there in that Noise because they want to pretend others how happy and successful they are. But, in the core of their hearts they are worried about many more things than those daily labourers.

What makes one happy? Am I happy? Are you happy? Are we all Happy?

Hmmmm... I feel scared to say 'No'.. because that reveals the sad truth behind my smiling face. But, how long can we live with this fallacy in our selves? We are running from one place to another, one object to another .. for what.. for happiness......... but do we get it? Sadly.. No.

What is that void that's residing in each one of our hearts? We all are here to live each moment happily and successfully but............ you know

Today our electrician told us about an incident that would move anyone of us. He was standing on one side of a road after his bike brokedown and he was trying to mend it. In the mean time he saw a young and smartly dressed young man, on a bike, who tried to overtake a passing bus from the wrong side. Just at that instant as soon as he crossed the bus, he got hit by a car that made him loose his control and he fell flat on the road. And in a matter of millisecond the fast moving bus moved over his head leaving behind a body which was beheaded. His limbs were shivering in pain, but, just imagine that body which had no head.

The electrician was so shocked that he went home and could no more go for work. Did that boy, who according to the elctrician , was very smartly dressed and looked from a well off family, ever think that he would never reach his office and his life would end in such a manner that would give people a terror?

These incidents somehow jitter me form within to just throw away evrything and declare to myself that evrything in this world is shit.. every thing is a play.. every thing is an illusion. Let me come out of it. Let me not waste even a single second more in this fallacy where everything is got to end in the end. But where do I go? even if I go.
Do i become a sadhu and sit in the himalayas? .. But, what next? What better will I be then? What constructive work will I be doing as I would sit over there with my eyes closed?.... Wouldn't that mean running away from my responsibilities? But, what are these responsibilities which are themselves based on this false world.

Well, its a Loop.. a big round loop that can make us think but not act? God knows .. why he made all this and kept the secret with him? God knows if there actually exists a God?

Its exhausting .. its confusing.. its maddening.... but its interesting :) Thinking beyond what these 5 senses can see , can touch , can do.

As of now, am still wandering in these dark clouds because I don't have the courage of stepping out of these man made rules where every hapiness is defined by success and money.. or in the broader terms .. its at least in the vicinity of these 5 senses.

As a positive thinker, at least I feel that thinking in this manner keeps one less sad , less angry , less negative and less insecure about things because you in your hearts of heart have alraedy accepted that all this is an illusion and is going to get over some day. SO why should I be upset and sad about anything and everything.

Life taught me things in a very simple and straightforward manner. When ever I loved something too much, it left me. Either it broke or it was broken. I feel it was nothing, but life's way to teach me that why to attch your self to anything too much? And even if you do so, at least have the fact in your mind that it's all an illusion and it will all end.

I would not like to conclude this post as I am still not having the answers to some of most of the question. But, I feel much happier to at least have made an effort rather than just spending the moments in grief and happiness being a slave of the world. So let the mental battle go on.

I thin God must be smiling out there when he sees people like me taking an attempt to think beyond the labyrinthic world so seriously.
