Cockroach Vs You !!
God is very kind, if at all we believe God exists. I have seen him giving sorrow to the fullest to people that can really test their nerves. I always try to press the accelerator when it comes to enthusiasm and smiling and positve things and good good concepts like that. But, the fact is that God has never ever put me in such a state where I had to question God, "Why me?"
I salute the people around me who in all the hours of chaos and difficulties wear on their face, the smile that hardly makes us realize the difficult times that they are going through. I as a writer write most of my articles on Love and things like that, but I know very well that there are many more things in life that are of much more painful than love.
I know people who don't get two meals a day, know families where the poverty has frustrated them to that extent that the kids every night see their father hitting their mother after getting drunk. Small kids lose their parents when they are not even capable to write their own name.
One of my friends lost his father recently and he was questioning God about God's plans. Another person very close to my heart was always having a smile on her face, when her father was battling aginst a dreadful medical problem. I think the inner strength is tested at the time when one is struggling for life, or for unemployment , or for two square meals a day.
Topics like Love and Romance look good in articles, but life is far more complex than that. I have seen mothers being hit everyday by their sons, who are so frustrated with their unemployment that they fall prey to alcohol and hurt their own mother, who had held their fingers and taught them to walk.
I always say to myself... Stay Positive.... Wear that cool smile always..... Walk that confidence.. and all that things that will take me high... but, I know how easy it is to smile when God is kind enough to you. You have wonderful parents... great paying job.... good friends... comfortable house........and all that a person can ask for. So how can we give the credit to our self to be so great and successful, if we have hardly tasted any hardship in life.
From the first day, we got a wonderful house that was warm enough to keep us warm and cozy. We didn't have to shiver in the night like the poor kids who spend their whole day begging on the street.... and hardly have a cloth to wear............... Every morning we got a wonderful bread sandwich stuffed with cheese and butter.......We don't have to search for food packets in the garbage like many souls in this world have to do............ What's great if I aspire to go to Havard or IITs?? From the day one of my life, I had my educated parents to sit with me and dictate me 'A' for Apple........ It was unlike those kids who have to leave school because their parents have to send then to beg or work because if they don't do so, what will they eat?
So, stop living in that false pride..... and that false sense of accomplishment that makes you touch the sky on the basis of the success and money you have gathered in this life.
99% of our lives were decided the moment we were born..... the good parents, the comfortable house, the spectacular education that we all have got are a part of the grace that god has showered on us at the mere point of birth.... We could very well be one of those kids searching through those garbage-bins looking for a piece of bread loaf hopefully left by someone.
So, my dear friends..... stop counting how many cars you have, or how many figures you have in your salary or how many PHDs have you done in your lives....
Rather start counting how many smiles have you given in the day......How many drops of tears have been wiped by you........How many poor people have been fed by you.... How many youths have you saved from going ash-tray.
Life is not that big friends..... at least not that big that we can irradicate grief from this world. But why not to at least make an attempt to make a diffrence to some one in pain..... some one in grief......... one word of love can cure thousands of injuries...... one peice of cloth to the shivering child on the street can save him from the cold, while you are sleeping under the silk blankets in your warm houses.
You can Change.... only if you want to....... or else.... be assured there is nothing great in your living... even a cockroach lives selfishly for the whole of his life.
LOVE as much as you can...... It will make a difference :)
