Robbers are invited.....

"Praveen, I too wish I could write, but I feel insecure to express myself"... these were the words of my friend at office. She has been reading my articles and relates to them very well. She too has a website, but has put her name as someone else, as she doesn't want other's to know whose words these actually are.

After listening to her, I was trapped in the thought, if I too needed to feel insecure about my readers? And a smile came on my face... A smile that in some terms would resemble the smile of a saint who has left his household and is wandering in the forest and is suddenly attacked by a robber. What does he have to loose? What harm can the robber cause to him?

There are no doubts that words come straight from the soul and enters my reader's heart. Where does the insecurity come into picture?

I had once upon a time felt insecure in life.... when I had shared all my inner self with someone... all my strengths and weaknesses were shared with that person.... There was nothing left to conceal about what I think or do.... but suddenly when I saw that person leaving me, I started feeling insecure, as if someone whom I took for granted and shared myself with, was leaving me....

But that person left... and with her went all my insecurities..... I could feel the fear in my mind, that I had shared so much with someone and now she leaves leaving me stranded.....

But, today as I introspect again.... I feel," what is so special about what ever I write?".... Am not the first person to have tears.... I am also not the first person to love my mother... also not the first one to fall in love .. or the first one to fear death. So if there is nothing to fear, then what should stop me from writing my own self in these words.

These I know are not words but reflections that the readers see in these articles... They see themselves somewhere in between the words.... Who has not cried in this world when some one close to their heart has left them? Who has not thought that one day he or she will have to face death?

Why fear if your life becomes an open book..... The more I write the stronger I become.... because the lesser you have to conceal the more secure you feel..... Come take from me what you want.... I am robbed badly and the robbers come to me again and again because the treasure of Love that I have discovered never gets emptied as much as possible the robber may rob... :)

Some friends commented that I was looking for sympathy in my articles.... Yes, I am looking for something in these articles.. and that again is Love.... I am looking for a Love from each word I write.. the love that flows between me and my unseen readers.... the unseen tears that flows form someone who cries on reading these lines.... the hidden smiles that come on the faces when their eyes pass over these lines.... Please smile once before you read ahead :)... Yes!!! That's what I wanted... See, I too smiled with you :)

Sympathy is a strange word.... U can easily misinterpret it with Love... so may be I am doing the same... but somehow in some or the other form trying to discover my own self with these words where the readers are nothing but my own extended selves.... when they read these lines and cry, the eyes may be there's but the tears are mine... in the deepest sense we all relate.. and that is what is to be looked for.. that eternal relation.

As of now, I just don't want to conceal anything.... let the life be an open book.... Come and take what you want.... exploit me if you have never cried, or if you have never been hurt... or if you have never feared death... make a mock of me... if you have never felt love for someone..... I know you won't because I am you and you are me... and we are all one.... same smiles same tears.....

Lets smile to make it a bigger smile.... and lets wipe each other's tears so that the other feels the care and warmth.....

Take Care,
-Ur reflected Self :)

That's exactly it!

You, me, someone we know, the author, the narrator, the self, the other... who cares... We are all linked by your words... and this time I also smiled :)

Christmas and holidays approaching and feeling happy about it!

Good night!

Iceberg has just 10% on the surface, 90%of it is hidden.
And ofcourse, we both know that.

Yes Garima Ji,

U r right.
But I was thinking that why is it that the iceberg wants to hide the 90% of the things inside the surface of water....
Its safe I know... but, nothing to loose even if you don't hide as ultimately all the ice has to melt into water someday:)
