My role model leader - Who, Why, How ?

Who is a leader? Why do we need at all a leader? And How does someone become a leader?

We have live our lives facing umpteen struggle and confusions. In all these moments we look around for solution to the same. In this journey, we end up finding our solutions in some people, who we believe have it in them to sail through such turmoil.

They are like a ladder to us, to whom we can look up to and learn from their lives. Such a phase of struggle and confusions came to my life when I was in my Graduation College. It was the time, I was looking for a meaning of my life. That is when, I was gifted a Book of Karma Yoga by Vivekananda. That has been a turning point in my life.

Since then, I have made much attempt to delve into the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. His life has not only been one of sheer purpose, but has also been the guiding light to many.

Swamiji’s teaching that we are not sheer mortals but immortals ourselves, and our spirits being bigger than our bodies has been the torch light for me since then. My fearless attitude towards problems and my values to stick to the right comes directly from the teaching of Swamiji.

He is one Spiritual Guru, whose principles can be easily applied in one’s daily and professional lives. Today in the world of corruption and unethical activities, such an essence in your soul can be your guiding light for sure.
